What's happening here on the farm...

Our flock is shorn twice a year for their wonderful mohair.  We look forward anxiously to each spring as babies are born.The fibre is remarkably warm and soft.  It is then going to be spun into skeins and knit into socks.   

Our apiary is a happy place full of bees bringing in precious pollen and babies learning their roles.  Our honey is from wildflowers and has an unmistakable taste of the country. Sold from our roadside stand for a limited time.  We always sell out.   

Our hens are happy and spoiled with a fearless leader, our lovely rooster who looks out for them and the rest of the neighbourhood..hehehe.  They lay blue, green, white, brown and chocolate coloured eggs.  Five dollars a dozen at our roadside stand.
